MASFA's dinner meeting is the best place in the Northern Virginia, Washington and Baltimore region to network with people in the cold-formed steel industry: Contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, and designers are always part of the mix. Our dinners provide you the opportunity to:

• Learn about important industry topics (many of which include continuing education credits) from various industry experts.

This session provides an overview of modern load-bearing structures, highlighting current practices and future trends in design and construction.

This presentation will also discuss the engineering process, value engineering options within delegated design, and key challenges that impact successful outcomes.

The session will also cover integrating structural steel within prefabricated wall panels, with insights into manufacturing, delivery, and installation. Additional topics include comparisons of different floor systems, their advantages, and available accessories such as supports for stairs, elevators, and canopies. The discussion will also touch on factory-installed components—safety rails, sheathing, vapor barriers, brick relief angles, and windows—and will welcome feedback from contractors on their own prefabrication experiences.

Attendance Cost

$50 for MASFA members/$60 for non-members preregistered by January 5; $65 for members and non-members after January 5; and $85 for any attendee payable at door (space permitting).  No refunds will be provided after January 5, 2026.

Sponsorship Cost

$250 which includes one dinner, a tabletop to display your company’s products/services, listings in event promotional material (including mailings), and an opportunity to speak to the group for five minutes.
